Hi Jim,
Well as I've said before? The camera regardless of manufacture? "Is only as
good as the photographer operating it!"
You and some others of the crew who have shown examples of iphone quality.
Have captured amazing quality photos.
But hand it to another and it looks like the lens was a "coke bottle" in the
hands of a nood-nick!

As I have commented previously, I find the iPhone 6 to be quite 
capable.  Here, I cropped an informal portrait from a shot made 10-12 
feet away.
