Thanks Douglas, yes it is the Elgin/Fraserburgh peninsula and you will often 
see it in my photos ;-)

Like them the serenity of them all, John, but am curious as to what the 
distant land is in the background in .....415. Elgin/Lossiemouth area? 
If so, as it is nearly 50 miles away, the Scottish air must be very clear. 
Then again, the moisture in the air in the shot possibly magnifies, and 
appears to shorten the distance?
