I use an Epson SC P807 (P800 in the USA) with the Ultrachrome HD ink set,
and print virtually all my B&W using ImagePrint 10. I very occasionally use
the Epson ABW driver as well. I print quite a lot as I take part in two
monthly print exchanges - one B&W, and one colour, as well as a few
exchanges that happen at irregular intervals.

I tried MIS and Cone a few years ago and found that managing those combos
from the other end of the world with pathetic to non existent support, and
a general attitude of ignoring customer queries, was just not tenable.
Besides both the inks clogged my ink heads more than Epson inks ever did. I
actually junked two printers in trying to use these ink sets! So, I decided
not to experiment but to use what is easily available with good support.
Epson's service centre in Chennai is 1km away, and they make house calls
for a minimum charge of US$4.00 per call, deductible from the cost of
repairs, if any. Similarly, I get Hahnemuhle paper in New Delhi, so I am
wedded to their paper as well!

Cheers
