Covering the games certainly isn't shooting a "FRIDAY FLOWER" it's generally in the 16 hours a day moving about, carrying gear and hopefully you'll be able to capture a successful shooting position where there are a couple hundred guys and gals fighting for one at a finishline of a race!. :-( And doing it for around 3 weeks. But what the heck if you didn't love being involved you could always stay home and shoot those crappy weddings every weekend!!! :-) cheers, Dr. ted grant O.C. -----Original Message----- From: LUG [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Robert Baron via LUG Sent: February-26-18 10:48 AM To: Leica Users Group Cc: Robert Baron Subject: [Leica] Photographing The Winter Olympics Although this may be behind a paywall if you can read it I think it is interesting and it certainly gives us more appreciation of what Senior Member Prof. Dr. Ted OC went through back in the day: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/26/insider/from-the-white-house-to-the-slope s-a-times-photographers-olympic-trials.html?action=click&pgtype=Homepage&mod ule=timesinsider®ion=c-column-bottom-span-region _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
