Subject: [Leica] Nathan's PAD 14/3/2018: two scenes from Paris

I am in Paris for an all-day meeting at the OECD. I arrived at my hotel
around 5 p.m. in the afternoon and had a dinner to go to at 7:30, so I had
about 1 1/2 hour of free time yesterday afternoon. I used that time to take
the metro to Place Saint-Michel and walk around a bit in the area (and of
course to have a beer in one of the bars there). Two vignettes:

One of the classic view of Paris:

Another sadly common view, a homeless man. He had a beautiful cat rather
than the more usual dog, and it certainly drew attention (and money, also
from me):

Both images were taken at dusk, so the light is a bit flat, but that is how
it was.

Cheers,
Nathan
