Why would you need more than 24 MP?  It certainly exceeds film as far as
dynamic range and the ability to enlarge it goes.

I'm printing some pretty small crops from the SL at 17x22 and they look
spectacular.  Lots of detail and dynamic range, unbelievably sharp - so
much cleaner and clearer than film.

I still love film for the look that it has, including grain, but if you
don't want grain, I can't imagine anything better than the SL.
