I think that is if there is any electronics or mechanic involved.  I am sure 
someone in China will make a strictly manual adapter that will work for a 
totally manual lens.

They are saying that other brands glass will be held back. Not allowed. I'd 
imagine you'd still be able to get them anyway though.
