So I remember when Sears was a store worth visiting. But already in the 90s (in New Jersey in this case) it was clear that this was a company searching for its identity. And when I have been inside Sears stores in recent years (when visiting the US), it was clear that this was a dying company. Not so much a sign of the times, more a sign of poor management I think.
