Very interesting. Brings back good memories of a trip I did on the Rhine ... 
some fifty years ago. The castles are indeed impressive and so romantic ...

Many of us who attended the Leica Society meeting in Wetzlar, Germany
also went on a day cruise down the Rhine river.  Unlike the rest of the
week, the weather wasn't the best.  Still, we had a good time, and saw
plenty of castles.
