Subject: [Leica] Tuesday Trees

Greetings to all.  Just west of the Federal Courthouse is a very nice
square with this large oak:

In the older parts of Austin the creeks were left largely undeveloped as
the older residents remembered flash floods that were very destructive;
this is a creek running on the north border of the State School for the
Deaf which was established shortly after Texas independence:

Much of the close in Austin was built in the second or third wave of growth
and the trees have had a chance to mature:

Bear in mind that large parts of Austin are sitting on a large limestone
ocean bed from long ago.
