Greetings to all. This week is west to the LBJ National Monument. The US
government has very little land holdings in Texas but this is one. We
visited late in the wildflower season and these are views that include
trees. The paucity is the dryness of the climate as you move west from the
Pedernales river. The LBJ ranch borders the Pedernales river so the fields
had adequate water to grow enough grass for his cattle.
