I'm not a member of the LHSA, and I never seriously entertained the notion
of buying the special camera, and I never read any brochures etc., but it
seemed obvious to me that it would take some time before buyers received
their cameras. In fact, I was surprised to hear about people who actually
did receive a camera months ago. After all, the LHSA was promising
unlimited numbers of cameras to members who ordered buy the deadline date.
So I assumed that Leica would not even begin production until then.
