Bill,
    Years, and I do mean years ago, I read a test report in Camera 35
comparing print washers.
    They found the Kodak tray siphon to be the most efficient.
    The filled a tank with water added water color and timed how long it
took for the water to clear. Kodak won hands down. Save your money.
