I was doing a slide show recently of my Dharavi slum stuff, with a mix of Indian and English audience, and one Englishman in particular asked me why I want to drag myself through the gutter to take pictures (he was a bit overboard anyway, as it turned out). But I _like_ it, was the only reply I could come up with! What could be more interesting! Unfortunately, and it's what makes me a fair weather photographer rather than a pro, the corollary in my case is: I like to take pictures, but I take bad pictures of things that don't turn me on. So it goes... Rob. Or in other words: A picture is a secretion about a secretion. _Now_ tell me I'm not an intellectual. The New Secretionist. Robert Appleby V. Bellentani 36 41100 MO Italy tel.
