I have a platinum print and one of the same shot done with Peizotone inks and there is NO comparison...the Peizotone ink print is better. They (B&W) do show great work, and are beautifully produced, but ignoring digital B&W is sticking your head in the sand. Film and digital don't really matter to me. What matters is the end product. I don't personally own a digital camera of any kind, but I'd own one quickly if it let me work in the formats and lenses I own today and produce results as good as or better than film and scanner or film and wet dark room. When and if they bring out a digital M I'll buy it. When they get a 12shot or greater digital back for a Hasselblad for a few thousand dollars that is as small light and portable as a film back I'll buy it. Arguing about digital, ignoring it, or banning it is pretty foolish IMHO. - --- Tim Atherton <tim@KairosPhoto.com> wrote: > And they won't even take "digital" prints now, for > articles.
