Is there a reason you are wanting to shoot in B&W? I realise the traditional photojournalism = B&W - but I don't think that is necessary - personally I'd like to see some more of your colour work to compare. The new galleries are at the following URLs. Peruse at your pleasure. In the next day or so I hope to be adding some narrative content to the Diaries section as well. http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3107.html http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3110.html http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3111.html http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3112.html http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3113.html http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3115.html http://www.scottsquire.net/ssp/folder-3106.html Details are: about 80% T-Max 3200 (most shot at, and processed for 800 or 1600), the rest Fuji CZ800, shot as if black and white (in other words, not thinking 'color') and converted in PhotoShop. I like both films, but I'm finding I wish I'd invested less heavily in fast film, and had some 400 or even 100 films lying around. Oh well. I'm here to learn, so I'll gratefully accept your thoughtful criticisms. These pictures represent sort of the first edit--I'm hoping the feedback here will help me to become not just a better photographer, but a better editor as well. Comments offlist or on, your choice.
