I had completely forgotten that there was a small number of people pulled out on the first day or so.... I guess I forgot about those few rescues because of the months of clean up that were, largely for political reasons, called rescue work. B. A lot of people were trapped for hours in the rubble and were rescued- firefighters, Port Auth. police officers, civilians working in the towers. I know its not many when you consider the big picture, and their stories may have gotten the short end of the stick, but it was in the dozens. - ------------------------ Uh, not to be 'unpatriotic, but what rescues at the WTC would those have been?
