Hi Rob, Im afraid to say that the Euro is NOT accepted as a 'legal
currency'. Although in London some of the high street stores in Central
London do accept them. I purchased some goods from Marks and Spencer and
used Euros, however it took 3 employees to process my transaction and
the exchange rate they use is terrible!

I don't know if I agree with this 'European Project' thing though.

Jason - you make a valid point, but the European project is currently
pretty identified with the common currency, don't you think? BTW - are
euros accepted as legal tender in the UK now, or do you have to change
them at the bank? R.
