Puts some questions about this and he stated that most negatives contain about twice the data a 4000 oversamled long exposed scanner can extract.Apparently one cant compare dots with line pairs.Nice thing with printers is that they have the same resolution no matter how big the enlargement is.also you lose the focusing of the enlarger.Simon - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
