I will try bringing the card into a local shop and see what they can do - I have not formatted it yet. I have used the card, and two other identical 128MB cards for some time now, so I think I may have a different problem than what you experienced. It is frustrating, because most of the time it works perfectly, but then total failure, well, it makes me nervous to use the camera for critical shooting... On a similar note, when I took a dozen images yesterday, stored as TIFF, the Digilux 1 kept 'crashing' when I downloaded them through the USB cable. I had to remove the batteries to free it up! The images could be retrieved from a card reader, but not through the camera itself. Anyone had similar issues? Is there a firmware update for the Digilux, I wonder?
