I'm not suggesting that you have to be casual about it.  I'm suggesting 
that you set a standard and then stick to it, rather than getting your 
wires all crossed about an issue that only the person it involves can 
solve.  If oil on the aperture blades bothers you when you've paid $$$ 
(or even $$) for a lens, then return the thing and get a refund.  Or 
sell it on to someone who doesn't care.  If not, go shoot with it.  But 
posting a question on the LUG asking *other* people what *you* should 
do is, for all intents and purposes, a waste of time and effort.  It's 
pretty certain that everyone here has a different standard.  Some 
people would shriek at stuff that others wouldn't even notice.

Not to mention that no one else on the LUG has even seen this lens, or 
know how much oil is on the aperture blades.

The subject of this thread is "35mm Summilux from KEH, should I 
complain?".  Personally, I don't see what the question mark is doing 
there and it'd probably be much more useful if KEH heard about it 
before the LUG did.
