For my situation, I just don't think 1.4 is going to add that much compared to the bulk gained when shooting with a 35 ASPH lux. Don't get me wrong - it is a superb lens. But if it isn't being used - well - it is the world's most expensive glass paperweight. Eric who knows - maybe I will keep both. And feel guilty.. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "bdcolen" <bdcolen@earthlink.net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Saturday, April 05, 2003 7:48 PM Subject: RE: [Leica] Alternate to current 35mm ASPH? > So you're saying having a compact camera is more important than the > ability to shoot in low light? > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of faneuil > Sent: Saturday, April 05, 2003 7:28 PM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: Re: [Leica] Alternate to current 35mm ASPH? > > > Ok - so from all the responses I have received I am thinking of selling > my 35 lux ASPH for the compactness of a 4th gen 35 summicron.
