This fellow, who drove up in a vintage '59 Plymouth (as part of a Forward Look troika) had style well beyond the tailfins. And for those who need to know: Yes, he indeed did pose for this photograph. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1473357&size=lg Incidentally, the shots taken over the weekend were made with a M-mount Elmar 50/3.5 I'd heard wonderful things about this lens--apparently many photographers in the 50s were loathe to give up the red scale Elmar for the collapsible Summicron--but was surprised by the wonderful results. Not all aged Leitz optics are this impressive, even after a CLA. A scanner doesn't do it justice--ya gotta see 'em on a light table.
