One of things I love down there is of course >the food; and few of the Spanish foods are as photogenic as the big hams >which are found in even the most modest bar. They usually hang from the >ceiling, and when the time comes to use them (for tapas), then the ham is >put in a kind of wooden vice and sliced thinly as needed. My wife says I am >obsessed with these hams, and she is right. So 3 of the 4 Nice pictures but with strong color cast! Specially the green cast of the fluorescent light. Ask someone in the next trip to let you have a Jabugo ham, those of black pigs, breaded only with acorns and in which there is a mix of grease and flesh. Ask for Sanchez Carvajal hams and, I bet you, if there is not the best ham you got in your life I eat my basque beret! Felix, who's running out home to get some Jabugo inmediatly (It's at fifty meters from home in a bar called La Viña (The Vineyard) with some splendid wine of Cariñena) Your pictures developed my artistic sensibility but make me hungry too.. - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
