However, my not so mint IVsb #194104 also has the red dot you mention. I always thought that it was the film plane indicator. I had a couple of questions: I made a website with extensive photos: http://photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/CanonIV.html * There's a red-dot stamped on the top cover, to the right of the "Canon Camera Company Japan" in the photo of the IVsb at the very very bottom of the page. Is this special or do all IVsb units have it? * There's a red card inserted into the leather case. I'm assuming it's for film loading and shutter testing . Has anyone else seen something like this? I also got a black Yashica GT (fixed-lens) and Minolta 35 Model II (Leica clone), if anyone is interested: http://photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/YashicaElectro35GS.html http://photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/Minolta35.html - -- Karen Nakamura http://www.photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/ - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
