Perhaps it is the mindset when you pick up the camera, snapshot(Leica), real photograph(Rollei). In any case, the Rollei shot is sublime. Winter came upon us ... from a single, constant direction ... painting the trees with snow. This is from a walk around our "neck of the woods". http://www.dlridings.com/paw2004/1alt1.html I guess I'm in for it again this year (in for the PAW). I'm not making resolutions, but I'm aiming at always having a Rollei shot. When it comes to Leica ... I want to (but no resolutions) try and concentrate on color slide film. The PAW is a good learning experience, and my color shots are typically pretty uninspired. I want to get comfortable with it. But doing so makes it hard to meet deadlines. The slides won't be back until Monday or Tuesday. I'm also going to try and make friends with the 50mm lens again.
