Jack Kerouac was known to have used butcher shop paper. He could type
well
over 100 wpm and with his style of "Stream of Consciousness" writing he
could just close his eyes and hammer away, not having to worry about
pulling
and resetting page after page. Quite the opposite of Thomas Wolfe who
wrote
by hand standing up and dropped each competed page into a good sized
trunk
eventually delivering the trunk to his Editor Max Perkins.
