Or do I have a beard because I'm the way I am? Or, more to the point, do I have the beard because each time I've shaved it off, babies have cried, dogs have howled and slunk away with their tails between their legs, and women have laughed to the point of passing out? ;-) -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of grduprey@rockwellcollins.com Sent: Friday, July 16, 2004 2:14 PM To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: RE: [Leica] transporting film Now we know why you are the way you are! ;-) Gene |---------+--------------------------------------------------------> | | "B. Last time I went to Washington DC, the fellow traveling with me (67 years old, 140 pounds, Irish, conservative accountant-type looks, charcoal gray suit) got detained at every single point possible. Perhaps the least likely terrorist if we are counting looks. So the fellow goes though the magic wand thing and didn't get any pings. Twice and began a third pass and I said "it's my ears!" He looked and put the wand to each side of my head and yep it was the ears.... Then he says, " take them off and walk through without them!" :-) OK and they put them through the scanner, I walked through clean and they returned my ears! Aaaahh security love it. ;-) ted _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
