I didn't have a vertical B&W but I did have a vertical color of a slightly different photo. The family was eating, not praying. So I took the bottom and top of the color one converted to B&W and combined them with the original horizontal B&W to get this vertical with room for the magazine title: http://www.leica-gallery.net/tinamanley/image-86244.html The other one is the photo that I use on my business card (my daughter, Cathy, in her brother's hat): http://www.leica-gallery.net/tinamanley/image-86245.html It was just published as a two-page spread in the book "The Art of Photographing Children" which has a section of my B&W photos: http://tinyurl.com/d3h4d I think the Nikon LS-5000 does a great job of scanning B&W negatives and it's much easier than trying to do it in the darkroom!
