I had the original CL... I loved it's size and performance, despite being Minolta made. However, every time I took it on a trip, the rangefinder would quit. Bring it home, fix it, and it would be fine... until it went on an airplane ride. At the end of the ride, the rangefinder was useless. After 4 trips, I sold it for an R3! However, despite claims to the contrary, I never had any problems using any M lens on it. I cannot imagine the CLE would be any different. But, with Minolta/Konica being out of the biz, and with rumours that Minolta stopped fixing the CLE's some years ago, you may want to thing twice. Good luck! -- David Young, Logan Lake, BC CANADA.
