Am I correct in assuming that these are primarily full-length portraits posed in front of a seamless backdrop (no floor/wall horizon)? I'm sure you have also taken shots of her dancing as well; and if so we might enjoy to see some of these. It's quite challanging to take interesting, unposed shots of actual performance. Unless you know the choreography, it takes a motor or burst mode to capture the right moment, in advantageous lighting. Flash gives technically good photos but often of the wrong moment, and often looks harsh. I haven't taken ballet but have encountered these challanges with ballroom dance photography. ---------------------------------------------------- This mailbox protected from junk email by MailFrontier Desktop from MailFrontier, Inc. http://info.mailfrontier.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "GREG LORENZO" <gregj.lorenzo@shaw.ca> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2006 10:54 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Ballet Tryout Submission Photos > Hi Mike, > > I know that something is not quite right and I'm hoping for suggestions. > So please be critical. > > I do appreciate it! > > Regards, > > Greg > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Mike Durling <durling@cox.net> > Date: Tuesday, February 14, 2006 8:04 pm > Subject: Re: [Leica] Ballet Tryout Submission Photos > >> I don't mean to be critical.
