Subject: [Leica] Digital questions . . . .

When I bought my Ricoh GR-Digital, I also got a 2 GB SD card, without
checking the manual for maximum supported size. The card works fine (I
have not upgraded the firmware, either). The other day, by coincidence I
noticed that the maximum size is stated as 1 GB both in the manual and
on the Ricoh web site.

So I would just go ahead and buy the 2 GB size. I cannot imagine that a
camera introduced in 2006 would not support it. And one other tip: don't
waste money on the new superfast cards, like the Sandisk Extreme III or
IV. Most likely, the camera cannot take advantage of the extra speed.
