These first images will be from my random walks around the various cities I was in. First up is the front of the Koln Dom: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DoryG/On-the-road/album337/PAW+40/kolndomcouple.jpg.html Second is an apprentice learning stone carving at the Wetzler Dom: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DoryG/On-the-road/album337/PAW+40/15mmwetzlardomcraftman.jpg.html Third, children are the same the world over. Did you ever wonder why most bronze statues have shiny noses? http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DoryG/On-the-road/album337/PAW+40/berlingirlstatuealexanderpl.jpg.html Fourth, I was fascinated by the old and new on Museum Island in Berlin. The columns and deck chairs just invited lurking: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DoryG/On-the-road/album337/PAW+40/berlinmuseumislandreader.jpg.html Fifth, walking around Koln you realize just how big a cathedral can be: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DoryG/On-the-road/album337/PAW+40/kolnbaunhaufcathedral.jpg.html Last, another image of the Dom but from across the river: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DoryG/On-the-road/album337/PAW+40/Kolnboyshoesstuffedbear.jpg.html Enjoy the traveloge, complain, crit, or push the shutter release yourself, enjoy the crisp fall weather unless you are in Buffalo NY in which case enjoy the snow.
