One, Leica says it's not weather sealed, and this has also been pointed out
in at least one non-LUG review. Two, as that particular review pointed out,
an M may not be weather sealed, but it is a mechanical camera; if it gets
soaked, dry it out. An M 8 is an electronic camera, no matter how solidly
built it is - and it appears that it may be the most solidly built digital.
And it's being electronic means that if you get caught in rain - not even
heavy rain - it may be fried.
