Tina,

That's a shame. The cutting and mounting would drive me crazy.  
Cutting into 6 exposure strips is enough for me. But I've got it a  
little easier. I use the Coolscan 9000. The 35mm negative holder  
cannot mis-adjust. It holds two 6 exposure strips in a rigid plastic  
frame. I got the 9000 to scan 6X6 and 6X7 negatives. Now that  
requires an offset every time. But the offset is consistent every  
time so it's just a minor inconvenience. I still have a Coolscan V on  
my older iMac though. I should sell it as I haven't used it for about  
6 months.

Anyway, happy scanning. Your M8 should cut down on that somewhat.
