Thanks, Len - I loaded my Garmin MapSource software just to see how 
far Mt. Shasta actually is. From our vantage point of 11,000 feet and 
about two miles offshore of Humboldt Bay, the 14,162 foot mountain 
peak is about 120 miles line-of-site away! Or about a four hour car 
drive across a lot of hills - and it feels a LOT longer than that 
when you're taking a car full of youth group teenagers there for a ski 
weekend!
