Claude has said that it is not the Tele Elmar.
This morning I found my vernier calipers. The external measurement of the
thread of my Elmar 135 1960 is 41.6mm. The larger thread
on my Tele Elmar 1965 (first version) is 38.1mm. It has a smaller thread,
almost covered, which is 32.9mm. This fits the OTZFO and
also the adaptor 16558 that comes with the Bellows II. I only use my
earlier lens with the Viso and keep the Tele Elmar assembled
as a normal 135. I cannot find any more information on another variation of
the Elmar (1960) in any of the resource books I have
(pocket book, accessory guide, Leica lens compendium or instructions for
reproduction devices).
Claude, can you post a picture of what you have?
Henning, do you have that later Tele Elmar? The head unscrews on that one as
well?
Michiel, what does that light baffle look like that you mention? My Tele
Elmar has a smaller thread visible, almost covered by a
set-screwed ring. Mine is engraved with the number 50. Is this ring what you
are talking about?
Cheers
Hoppy

No, both these lenses are Tele-Elmars. Clearly the identical optical
construction; just when you unscrew the head of the one it has
non-standard attachment threads and location of threads. I'll get the
details tomorrow after I look at it again.
