Moultons!!

Not strictly foldable but many of them do separate. I have three AMs  
and four F-frames. They suit me well as they offer the handling of a  
tight racing frame (steep geometry) with the luggage carrying  
capability of a long touring frame (relaxed, languid handling).

The AMs are unbelievably stiff where a frame should be as well  
compliant and comfortable on rough roads. Not the lightest of bikes  
compared to modern carbon fiber bikes but Moutons do accelerate very  
well with their ridiculously low wheel weight.
