I played with one at a friend's birthday party.
I gave it a brief torture test, as I was shopping for another PS. The  
one I got for my wife, a Coolpix P5000, has been a major disappointment.
The by now standardized width of 7.4mm (35mm) is too narrow for me.
I opted out for a Panasonic FX55 over the G9.
