The kids might still look at me, being up higher, than the camera, even if it is low down. Good point though, comparing to a TLR. I looked long and hard at the Olympus models before I picked up this camera for my trip. The lenses you mention (11-22) weren't part of the package and I couldn't figure out if the kit lenses were what I would like. So I went with a Nikon D80. The $400 price tag leaves the door open for alternatives, have to admit it.
