Amen!! I think they used "Leica logic" in deciding not to compromise
the quality of the camera and lenses by putting the filter on the
sensor. I hope the M9 doesn't use a filter on the sensor that makes
the image soft. I'd rather deal with an occasional magenta cast than
a soft photo.
