With an editor and art directors and the publishers money and book and media tours and high finance. Market research. Not that there have been some great vanity books out there. Ana?s Nin printed off her own stuff nobody else would. Literally with her own hand. We're glad for that. Blossom Dearie started her own recording company as no one else would record her.. We're glad for that. But getting a publisher to risk doing a book on your work is a whole different bag of Purina. We all look good by being on a list with Kyle. But in all fairness with reality should be a different list. Apples in the oranges list. Puppy chow in the Kitty chow list. Mark William Rabiner markrabiner.com
