I couldn't be happy without a darkroom. I haven't had time to make prints lately, but I have been developing my film, and scanning some negs for the gallery. B&W is the essence of photography for me, with a physical image that I can see without a computer. I shoot digital to make a living, but use film to give me fulfillment. Plus, I like my film cameras so much more than any of the digital gear I've used, that it makes no sense to invest in something I don't need. Also, instant results aren't neccessary for my enjoyment. I'm just now getting ready to send in all the Kodachrome I've shot in the past year. I'll be fun to see what I photographed in color.
