Nortisu,Agfa, and Fuji commercial C-41 machines have to have anywhere from 10-40 rolls of film per day run through them depending on the machine's size. If not properly cleaned and maintained build up starts to set in and can lead to bad chemistry, film scratches, fungus on negatives. I doubt these places see that many rolls of film per day anymore unless is a tourist spot with lots of disposable cameras being developed. Hold on, Walt you're smack in the middle of tourist spots! :) Not sure if we'll be replaced by security cameras but it's starting to look like we're being replaced by cellphones! Maybe I should add an ultra cheap cellphone photo package to my wedding packages! $325 - 240x320 Size images from you wedding, high quality from our professional 1.3 Megapixel Art Image Cell Phones. 2"x3" print album available for an additional $200.
