Rich's price for a recent-build new black M8 wasn't 75% discount, but it last year's price before the 2008 increase. So I get full warranty, two filters, and a new camera. And he has one more for sale, at the 2007 price. Now, GST/PST will bring the price back up to this year's price. Tony Rose had one for 75% discount, but used with some goodies (2 batteries, case, filters, etc), but I balked and it was gone. I don't have much hesitation on buying used. But with an M8, I am scared with not having a warranty. So - back to my original statement - rationale thinking and buying Leica don't mix.
