I had a D70 w/ 18-70 kit lens and a 70-300 consumer level lens. Sold all three last year awaiting a D80 but then learned about the D300 so I decided to wait. I'm looking at the 17-55 2.8 to begin with and then later going with the new 70-300VR or the 70-200 2.8 VR. I like landscapes, sports, motorracing, and watersports....and I missed having a digital slr.
