Turned in my 1989 Volvo, with well over 400,000 miles, to a charity
the other day.
Too many parts were becoming unavailable.
After the switch to electronics by Volvo, the romance was gone.
I did dutifully learn to repair the EFI and other components, and the
ohmmeter and I became one.
It hasn't been the same as when I just had to replace points and top
off the dashpots.
In some ways I can empathize with M nostalgia.
