I had lots of legacy lenses, too. It's a terrific camera and worked well with those old lenses but I soon found that the quality of those old guys wasn't up to the standard of modern Pentax lenses, so I hardly used them. Also, I quickly got hooked on the advantages of autofocus. Ultimately, I got into the Nikon line again (I used an F3 for years) for the generally better quality of the lenses. I had a D40x that my son now uses, and recently bought a D300. I am delighted with it. Many people really like the K10D (e.g., see The Online Photographer archives) http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/blog_index.html and some of the new prime lenses are said to be really fine. I found though, that the legacy lens criteria was a red herring in choosing the camera. I ultimately sold my K10D and all the legacy lenses a couple of months ago. Good luck.
