Kid was once again sick. Apr 1, drove back to Sacto, meant to finally have relaxed dinner with Shidara. Due to slide show maker failures, didn't start trip early enough and they finished and went back to hotel. Since we left something at the motel the previous night, made the 400+ miles trip back and forth anyway. Apr 3, taiko class, drove 100 miles Apr 5, 8 hrs Tai Chi workshop, plus 3-4 hours of chitchat dinner afterward, drove 100+ miles Apr 6, another 8 hrs Tai Chi workshop. Another 100+ miles. My wife went "Wow" and "Whoa" and threw me around a few times. Apr 7, picked up Sifu and his wife, took them to dim sum in Oakland, then private lessons with Sifu, and then onto SF Chinatown. Then onto Diamond Height district. Had dinner with Sifu's other student there. Drove 150+ miles. Apr 8, last minute invite to have dinner with Sifu and other students... I think our daughters forgot what we look like.... This weekend I am planning to take them to the Tech Museum and see an IMax movie to make up some. Altogether, probably more than 8,000 photos taken. At least 600 or so are good enough for Shidara and probably at least 40-50 are good enough to show to everyone. In this photo, Hasegawa san played an improv piece. Incredible passions and technique. In the middle, he threw the bachi (drum sticks) away, and started playing using his hands. http://www.dragonsgate.net/pub/richard/PICS/_4084668.jpg Meanwhile, we are releasing couple new products, and now onward to Embedded System Conference and Costume Con 26... Oh, somewhere in there, there's a Tax Day and my birthday.... // richard (This email is for mailing lists. To reach me directly, please use richard at imagecraft.com)
