Bob,

Forget about resolution. The only thing that matters are the pixel  
dimensions of the image that Geoff mentioned.

When I first started doing digital imaging, it also took me a while  
to get my head around the fact that resolution is an irrelevant  
concept, as it depends on the print size. The image has X by Y  
pixels, which is what matters, and nothing else.
